Wissan Plain

The Wissan Plain stretches across northeastern Remon, bordered by the towering Grimcrags to the west and the Plains of Daraneen to the east. This vast, rolling grassland is one of the island’s most fertile regions, with gentle hills and clusters of Oak, Beech, and Pryval shrubs dotting the landscape, particularly near the rivers that wind through the plain. The town of Wissan sits at the heart of the plain, nestled along one of these rivers, where the fertile lands are essential for farming and grazing. At the south of the plain lies the town of Arknas, where the grasslands meet the Denerth Woods.
Despite its open, pastoral appearance, the Wissan Plain is a dangerous region. Herds of Hrynn graze on the rich grasses, but they attract predators like the Rhakkor and packs of Wolves that prowl the fringes of the plain, especially nearer the Grimcrags. To the west, creatures like the Linsarr occasionally venture down from the mountains, making the region treacherous for isolated travelers. Along the rivers, the toxic Farshi fish are common, while the prized Aldren, known for its speed, is sought after by local fishers.
The Wissan Plain is fertile, yet wild, where nature's bounty is balanced by ever-present threats from the wilderness and predators that roam these open lands.
