Mount Braglorn
Mount Braglorn rises ominously from the shadowy canopy of the Wyrmwood, dominating the western wilderness of Remon. Standing as the highest peak in this region, it is an imposing and treacherous landmark, its slopes almost entirely bare above the forest line. The mountain is renowned for its steep, rocky cliffs and jagged ridges, offering little shelter from the fierce winds that whip through the area. Lichens and mosses are some of the only plant life that can cling to its exposed, craggy surfaces.
The lower slopes of Mount Braglorn are engulfed by the ancient and dangerous Wyrmwood, where dense forests of Fir, Pine, and Sirathin trees creep up toward the base of the mountain. These trees provide some cover, but the further one ascends, the more barren and rugged the terrain becomes. Silverhorn trees, known for their resilience, dot the upper reaches, standing defiantly in the rocky crevices.
Mount Braglorn is home to a number of dangerous creatures, making it a place few dare to venture. The notorious Lirketh, a massive serpent capable of crushing its prey in a deadly coil, is known to inhabit the gulches and hidden crevices of the mountain. The Linsarr, a fearsome six-legged predator, also stalks the shadows, its deadly jaws and claws making it a terror to any creature that ventures too far into its hunting grounds.
The mountain’s caverns and gorges are said to be home to other unspeakable horrors, with stories of travellers disappearing into its dark recesses never to return. Local legends also speak of hidden treasures and ancient artifacts buried deep within the mountain, drawing the bravest and most foolhardy adventurers to its treacherous slopes.
