Plains of Daraneen

The Plains of Daraneen stretch across northeastern Remon, lying between the Ogir and Banrak rivers. This vast expanse of rolling grasslands is largely unsettled, with only a few brave frontier communities and occasional wanderers daring to inhabit its open spaces. The region's isolation from the rest of Remon, and its proximity to the dangerous Silverwood to the north, make it a perilous area for both settlers and travelers.
The Plains of Daraneen are primarily covered in hardy grasses and scattered patches of Chorka and Pryval shrubs. Occasional clusters of Oak and Beech trees grow along the riverbanks, offering shelter to both wildlife and the small groups of people who pass through. Despite the plain’s wide, open appearance, it is fraught with danger. Rhakkor and wolves roam the fringes, and monstrous creatures from the Silverwood, such as Vyranthids, are known to raid the plains, making life here difficult and risky.
In the far northeast of the Plains of Daraneen, settlers face frequent attacks from both wild creatures and the tribal people who inhabit the Silverwood. The further one travels into the plains, the more dangerous the region becomes, with Tak-tak birds and Dutha predators hunting the open grasslands.
