  • Geigerport is both the name of one of the Eight States of Chronan and its capital city. It is the westernmost state and has the largest naval force. However, Airships becoming more and more common is threatening to make their ocean vessels obsolete. The state is also known for the fact that it holds the most people of orcish and goblinoid lineage within Chronan. It is only somewhat larger than Magnapolis, making it the second smallest of the Eight States.   The city of Geigerport is known for its many canals that lead into the surrounding Bablitz Riverlands, which have given it the nickname of "the City of Bridges". From the port leads a railway to the mines in the north-eastern Tungsten Hills, towards which the capital has spread over the centuries. A large majority of the citizens are of the working class, and there is a larger variety in species than anywhere else in Chronan.   The great vessels of the naval force called the Origo Fleet patrol the coastline looking for sea monsters and pirates from The Freeisles. The main base of the fleet lies in the fortified town of Blitzeng. Other settlements in the riverlands include the farming villages of Flossa, Tzarich and Waldrich, with steamboats running along the rivers between them.   To the north of the capital the sea curves into the Pearly Bay. The rivalling tribes of half-reptilians of Lutsvetz Marshland have formed camps along the rocky beaches of the bay. They all gather annually to Clamhall for a tribesmeet to discuss internal affairs and relations to the Eight States - usually ending in more disputes than agreements. The seedy settlement of Nom Cove is used to smuggle old technology and scrap metal from the Waste of Czenova. On the shore of the bay also rises the abandoned Fishbone Shrine, dedicated to an ancient sea serpent deity, Leviakhous.   To the west of the riverlands rises the Brasswall Range that borders many of the states, and the thick Frontwood, beyond which lies the state of Parcivale. Blocking the route to the south are the forest of Donnerwald and the Donnerstark Desert, both known for their dangerous monsters. They are patrolled by the Gugelhupfs, a clan of goblinoids that have their base at the clandestine Gugelhupf Citadel. The goblinoids claim to protect travellers from the dangers of the region, but in reality they collect heavy tolls from anyone they encounter.   The southern end of the peninsula drops into the Horizon Cliffs. The secluded town of Dorfarung is built on the eastern edge of the cliffs. Most of the denizens of the town are full-blooded orcs, who are usually shunned in the larger cities of the Eight States. The orcish tribes residing on the southern parts still worship the four elements, despite countless efforts to convert them to the faith of the Gods of Time and Order.   To the southwest lies a series of islands, including the large Barambu Island. The people of the Baraam Village on the island used to worship the four elements as well, especially the Phoenix Goddess said to reside inside the nearby volcano Mount Doraman, but her grand temple has nowadays been converted into a cathedral of Aegias-Meteo.
