Parcivale City
The capital city of Parcivale has a long history, as it was one of the few great cities that were spared from devastation during the War Between Order and Chaos. Most of the architecture dates back to the Ashen Age and has remained mostly unchanged throughout the centuries, although signs of steam technology are still visible here and there. Before The Order took over, the city was the center of the Duchy of Parcivale.
Despite being a harbor city, it does not have a fleet or many trading vessels due to the proximity of the dangerous shoals of the Forlorn Islands. Instead, most traffic is handled via airships or the more recent Caraferra railways that terminate at the capital city. On the south side of the city are docks called The Lonesome Harbor, as well as the pristine sands of Paradisa Beach. To the west and north of the city spread the fertile Damalot Plains with its fields, meadows and farmsteads. On the eastern side lies the treacherous Valeste Saltmarsh.
The city is surrounded by three stone walls built around the wide Montenostra Hill. The walls divide the three districts known as"Rings". There are many parks and gardens hidden within the narrow streets, ancient walls, manors and townhouses. There's also a notable number of museums and art galleries.
The population of the capital city is diverse, with no species having a majority presence. Due to the verdant fields and forests in the state, the people of the city have lived in peace and harmony, and this reflects in the serene vibe of the city. All the yearly festivals in the Chronanese Calendar are celebrated with extravagance and splendor.
