Politia Palladion is the shining champion of civilization. She is the goddess who is said to have given the gift of peace and diplomacy to the warring people of the Ashen Age. However, in the myths she is merciless towards the forces of Chaos, blinding them with her brilliant light before sending her armies upon them. She is connected to the Sun and the day, in opposition to Manadis. She is the patron deity of politicians, soldiers and the Polis Watch that guard the major cities of the Eight States. She is sometimes connected to an ancient sun goddess Lucidia, worshipped by primitive human tribes.

Appearance

She is depicted as a fiery woman with golden hair, bronzed skin and a gilded breastplate. On her right hand she carries the halberd Heaven's Glaive which she uses to cleave her foes, while on her left hand is the luminous Solar Shield that protects her people. Her heavenly home is "Pax Arcadia", a bright sunlit domain where she invites all those who devoted their lives to serving the Eight States and its people.

Clergy

Government officials and diplomats are her clergy, marked by golden epaulets and sashes. Officers of the Polis Watch who serve under her name wear golden pauldrons with the symbol of the sun carved into them. A monastic order of Journalist Monks dedicated to Politia Palladion write for The Daily Orderly, the official newspaper of The Order.

Temples

Governmental buildings are the temples of Politia Palladion. They often contain public forums where citizens gather to discuss with politicians. Her main temple in each of the great cities of Chronan acts as the congress hall for the city council.

Powers

For some reason, those devoted to her are masters of deception and diversion, sometimes able to create illusory images and false sounds. She is said to gift the power to bend the rays of light to either shield or blind.
