The Threshold

The Threshold is a place of beauty and desires - in the shape of a humanoid heart, with at the centre a statue of Crave of The Enduring Ones.

The twilight realm is shaped as a massive flesh-and-blood humanoid heart, containing four chambers, of which the lower left holds the Grey Realm within it.
Whether it is physical desires of pleasure, sin or virtues, or that of abstract desires The Threshold can offer it all. From a space to dress in elegant outfits, sexual encounters, or bookshelves of literature, or collections of artifacts and artworks, or rooms of great treasures - anything that is an individual's expression, brilliant introversion or exhibition, all of it can be found there.

THE GREY REALM

One residence of Perdita of The Enduring Ones. The Realm looks to be a small square room, full of cracked mirrors and is without colour, yet cannot be crossed in an hour. If a creature enters and succumbs to the despair and anguish, they will find the crossing of the room endless.
It a gray, foggy space filled with moon rats and cracked mirrors, which Perdita uses to look upon people in their despair and anguish. The sounds are of nibbling rats, the quarrelling of decades of long relationships, and deep sighing of Perdita.

"Take away the despair and aguish, until there is nothing left. Nothing except an empty room, where lies an abandoned hook, of the perfect fit for clawing deep into your heart."

CRAVE

SYMBOL = ruby heart shape
Crave is one of The Enduring Ones - has a twin named Perdita.
Crave is beautiful, curvy, and truly androgynous/gender-fluid ... therefore capable of appearing as a man, a woman, or any gender. They are sexy, stunning, and move elegantly in any form they choose - race, gender, colouring, and weight.
Crave in their original form has pale skin like smoke, a face without aging lines or wrinkles, has thin lips, and straight clean cut hair. Crave smells like peaches. Crave has two shadows - one is solid black and the other one is hazy and wavering.
They embody many aspects, such as ambition, vanity, jealousy, lust, self-righteousness, gratitude, admiration, temptation, possession, desire and pride.
They live in a massive statue of Crave themself, in the centre of the Threshold.

PERDITA

Names = Perdita; Gloom; Aponoia; Nort; Princess of Anguish; Despair;
SYMBOL = hooked ring; cracked mirror;
Perdita is Crave's twin, although is relatively nomadic. Perdita shifts between parts of The Threshold - as well as the Shadowfell, and parts of The Plane of Void).
Perdita is an obese woman with grayish skin, white bone of the top of her left foot showing, lines of worry on her face, and matted black hair. She is tattooed with intricate red lines, has scars and fresh blood-beading cuts all over body, and irregularly-shaped teeth. She smells of sweat, decay, slightly of blood and tears.
She is always naked in front of a set of cracked mirrors - she is usually squatting with large moon rats around her. She studies her features for hours, and barely facing those she envies. Perdita has a habit of carving her flesh with a hooked Oōruritē ring that she wears.
