Eregoth

Eregoth is an island nation famous for the might and influence of its many noble families. Nominally ruled by a King from House Cervantes, authority is heavily fragmented along noble lines, with different houses dominating particular regions and the lesser houses within them.

Geography

Eregoth ranges from cold, forested mountains in the north, to The Deep which spans the world, to fertile river plains in the center, to warm islands in the south. There are two main islands, along with several archipelagos to the west, south, and east. The eastern islands of the realm border the Shining Sea, with the massive continent of Norstir further east. the large southern island borders straights which lead to Keldan. As a heavily feudalized country, most of the lands within Eregoth are disputed between rival noble houses of varying status. Most regions recognize the suzerainty of twelve major houses who hold the largest and most affluent fiefdoms.
