City of Whispers

City of Heaven of Un, located in western Norstir. Situated between three great lakes known as the Whispering Pools, canals cross the city and shroud the area in fog most days. The waters of the city possess a mystical quality to them that enhances arcane awareness, but also bombard newcomers with indiscernible voices.

History

Scholars theorize that the City of Whispers had a proper name in the Dawn Age, but those who attempt to bring it to light become cursed, and often throw themselves fatally into the Whispering Pools. Locals prefer the enigmatic title, as it attracts the rich, curious, and gullible to visit.
