Dawn's Light
City of Heaven of Luxos, located near the mouth of the Solus River in east-central Norstir. Sprawling along both banks of the river, its brightly-colored buildings are designed to catch the morning sun's rays to better show off their detailed architecture. Two great bridges span the Solus River between the city districts; the northern bridge is thronged with shops, while the southern bridge boasts the Temple of the Dawning Sun, whose pinnacle is a sun-reflecting gem tall enough to be visible from one hundred miles away.
Defences
Both halves of the city have one hundred-foot walls. The fortified stone bridges rise above even the walls to allow even the largest ships to pass by. The west half of town is centered on a hill topped by the Citadel of Dawn, where knightly orders of Luxos muster in times of conflict.
Industry & Trade
The riverbank north of the bridges is the primary trading harbor, with the main commercial districts adjacent and running along the north bridge. The western harbor features higher end shops and inns, while the eastern harbor has merchant guildhalls and warehouses. Locals have the piers south of the bridges for personal use and fishing. The southwest quarter of town is where most professional crafts and industry are done.
Infrastructure
The northwest quarter is built up along low hills and features many parks, gardens, minor temples, and the publicly-accessible city library. The southeast quarter is mostly residential. As the original walled city filled with citizens over the ages, many neighborhoods sprawl out from the city's east gate and along nearby creeks and ponds.
