Aynor
Aynor was once the seat of House Fenheart, a city located in eastern Eregoth between Red Lake and the Shining Sea. As a prominent noble house in the wider kingdom, the Fenhearts held sway over much of the surrounding countryside, making Aynor the predominant settlement in the region. In the aftermath of the Battle of Red Lake it was rendered a smoldering ruin of stone and ash, haunted by the thousands of dead civilians that once made their home there.

The city was destroyed by arcane trebuchet bombardment at the hands of Lord Farin Oakenshield during the Battle of Red Lake.
Geography
Aynor is surrounded by hills to its northwest and southeast, dense forests to its east and north, and plains to its west. Further west is the Red Lake, while to the north is The Deep and eventually the cursed lands surrounding Kendel Keep. To the east is the coast of the Shining Sea, where the Fenhearts once held sway, but the lands were claimed by House Oakenshield.
