History

Hawthorne was party to a major battle during the Battle of Red Lake, where the Yuan-ti and Silvershield forces allied with Lord Oakenshield clashed with Lord Fenheart and his forces. Though Lord Fenheart eventually prevailed, Commander Darius was slain and now rests in an unmarked grave just outside the village.

Geography

Located just southeast of the haunted plateau that once housed the 14th Lord. Aynor is across the plains to the east, while Wakefield is to the south. Further west is Millstone, another small village which overlooks a bridge.
