Celestial Pact-Land

Located in the northwest of the Keldan archipelago and home to the warlocks who serve Celestial patrons, the Celestial Pact-Lands are divided into three major areas: the reaches of primal Anima to the east, the deeps of wild Dendra to the north, and the Motes of the lofting Ilora to the west. Each of these are the territory of a different faction of Celestial - respectively the Guardinals, Ghaele, and Angels.

Anima

Primal Heart of the World   Anima is a hotbed of exaggerated natural features; large, solitary mountains, vast plains, rocky badlands, and furious deserts. It covers an area of about 16,000 square miles.   The largest settlement on Anima is Jolimende.

Dendra

Vibrant, Colorful, and Full of Diverse Life   Dendra is a dense, wild, and vivacious jungle broken by a mountain range that runs west to east and separates coniferous rainforest to the south with more traditional equatorial rainforest to the north. The forests of Dendra cover an area of about 21,000 square miles.   The largest settlement on Dendra is Onhule.

Ilora

The Motes of the Celestial Chorus   Ilora is a rocky, lofty land made of floating islands (“Mote” in common parlance) reaching ever higher into the sky, hilly and successively more and more prone to dense fog and precipitation. The Iloran island chain is unique in that it is vertical, not horizontal, comprised of seven levitating islands held in the sky by the power of the celestial gods. The Motes are named in ascending order; Ilora Prima, Zenos, Sobos, Ludos, Xoros, Geos, and Apos.   Each Mote is named after the sphere of channeling and light beneath the heart of each land mass that reflects daylight down to the next island beneath it so that none of the Motes go without light during the day. Each Mote is suspended roughly 1000-1500 meters from the Mote beneath it. There are some smaller floating isles but they are rare and become even less common towards the uppermost Motes, and the highest two Motes have no orbiting companion isles at all. The Motes of Ilora cover an area of roughly 60,125 square miles, although only half is habitable due to elevation.   The Motes are home to what is known as the "Celestial Ladders" - lush green superplants that grow in cords nearly 50 feet across in places and stretch between the islands to keep them close to each other. At certain, sacred places in each Mote, they have a warm, golden inner radiance drawn from their roots which burrow into the earth. At these places the Celestial Ladders project an aura of null gravity that can be used by travelers to easily climb the massive vines up or down to the next Mote. Careful travelers can even bring carts and wagons, and well-trained animals, along for the ride.   The largest settlement is located on the terrestrial island of Ilora Prima, also named Ilora, is the capital of the Celestial Pact-Lands. The second largest settlement is Chalam, located on the on the Mote of Zenos.
