Devastator Quantum-Looped Photon Cannon

A large, extremely powerful floating Photon Cannon, from the Hyperion Federation. It is a more recent addition to the Hyperion arsenal and only recently left the prototyping stage. The beam initially starts out weak when firing on a target, causing negligible damage. What makes the weapon powerful is that, as photons are reflected from the target back to the Photon Cannon, the beam increases in intensity over time, forming a sort of feedback loop that gets exponentially more powerful over time. While it can take a while to match the power of the legendary Oblivion Assault Gun, the weapon has almost no limit to how powerful it can get, and eventually it would match the firepower of the Starlight Energy Chisel. The Dhim'or race came up with it, and they told Phelke scientists to make it. They both helped in the development of the weapon.
