Black Hole Cannon

The Black Hole Cannon is the third Ω Extreme-Energy weapon as built by the Hyperion Federation. It is capable of slowly creating black holes and firing them with a device similar to a warp drive. Shields cannot stop black holes, ever.
Due to hawking radiation, the black hole will decay over time. While it takes a considerable time for it to completely decay, its range is still quite limited in comparison to other Extreme-Energy weapons.
Considered a future weapon of the HF, like all the other weapons built with Ω-technology.   Due to the Black Hole Cannon firing black holes, it has earned the nickname of 'quasar cannon'.    Although black holes fired by this weapon are typically quite small, they will penetrate all forms of armour and shield as if it was vacuum. The black hole itself is generated through interactions between a massive number of extremely high-energy photons which all interact with each other at the same point at the same time. The mechanism that performs this action is arguably the most advanced component of the weapon as it has to be accurate to within several time-quanta. After condensing an extremely massive amount of energy into a miniscule point, the photons bunch and form a small object. It is so high-energy that the escape velocity from this object exceeds c at a very small radius, forming an extremely small black hole. At this stage it can be fed more photons to extend it to full size. Black Hole Cannons can also act similar to a Negentropy warhead if modified in a way to do so. As black holes have an entropy value, QEN machines can take entropy from a blackhole eventually leading to negentropy.   To prevent extremely rapid decay of the black hole due to Hawking radiation, a ZPE machine is used to collect energy from the quantum foam nearby which almost destroys it. This would normally violate the uncertainty principle, but any non-supermassive particles are harvested by the ZPE machine. The black holes are massive enough to be seen on the macro scale  and the extreme gravitational force can pull most ships apart with ease. Despite its highly destructive area of effect nature, the Black Hole Cannon's primary doctrine is armour penetration. It can effortlessly penetrate through a massive quantity of armour so that even against the largest of starships it would very likely still expose the crew to the vacuum of space and tear large holes in many systems. Due to the immense mass of the black holes it requires a massive amount of energy to fire. This makes it very impractical to use by any ship that doesnt generate Ω Extreme-Energy Technology levels of energy and even then it is still quite energy intensive.
