Tachyon Phase Cannon
The Tachyon Phase Cannon is an Ω Extreme-Energy weapon as used by the Hyperion Federation. They fire large streams of tachyons. Tachyons exhibit a strange property where velocity and energy are inversely proportional. As energy is lost, its velocity increases. As such, these are designed to fire ultra low energy tachyons at an immensely high intensity, giving it an even greater range. they can easily reach several quintillion c, the fastest the HF has managed to get anything to travel, excluding instant transportation methods such as their very advanced IGWDs or Teleporters. Additionally they aren't much more expensive than other Extreme-Energy weapons, meaning that they might be used commonly alongside similarly powerful weapons in the far future.

These were armed partially with Tachyon Phase Cannons where they saw a massive amount of sucess in destroying multiple CD worlds from long distance as well as most Cypher Dominion Star Anniilators within an immense radius after the ships were annihilated several hours after by their own instability. Although this opened several gaps, a similar efect could likely be achieve by familiar ships and regular Tachyon Cannons for far less cost. Despite this, the future potential of these ships are seen as immense, so several factions have attempted raids on HF data centers before they could conceptualise the ships properly.
Although tachyons are unstable, the unique tachyon stabilization technology of the UN of Tebburus has made these weapons possible. Due to the sheer velocity of these tachyons, they are not fullt stabilized and will decay after having travelled about 21 thousand light years, which it reaches in a very small fraction of a second. With future advances in this technology, that could potentially be increased in the future.
