Rynn Prime

The Prime Material or the Mortal World, Most people simply known Rynn Prime as just Rynn. Composed of six known continents, Rynn is suspected to be home to the largest population of any mortal souls. The history of Terra Rynn extends back many ages, and much of its earliest memories have been lost to time.   Across the surface of Rynn, would be visitors or travellers can find a wide variety of ecospheres, from the blazing deserts of Esor, the biting winds of the Jigarassa Mountains, the gnarled flora of the Bloodwood, or the majestic rivers of the Lotalawi. Numberous towns and communities dot much of the landscape of Rynn, and those fewer remote places shrink with every passing year.   In the year 307, Rynn is home to several dozen nations, each vying for influence and dominance in their respective regions.

    Features

Terra Rynn is a diverse and varied world that contains a vast range of geological, ecological, and magical features. While several civilizations have begun more extensive efforts to uncover great ruins or understand mystical phenomena, many mysteries still abound throughout Rynn. Below are a few of the most significant features of Rynn.

    Leylines

The leylines are physical and supernatural conduits of energy that flow though Terra Rynn and are thought to be the primary tethers between Rynn and the other planes. These conduits are powerful channels of magical energy that are regarded by some as natural weather to be observed, and others as limitless resevoirs of power waiting to be tapped. The behavior and movement of these leylines is still not understood well, and how to best use or interact with them is often speculated.

    Ancient Ruins

Throughout the Millenia, Rynn has been host to a variety of civilizations that have risen and fallen. From the first age, the Aiechen Guardians, the early nations of the Age of Heroes, Titan Holds, and the Turathi Empire - many places of the land keep secrets just beneath the surface. As societies of the world develop more sophisticated methods of civilization and science, more of these ancient structures and mysteries have been unearthed.

    Daemonic Scars

In its earliest years, Rynn is believed to have been the target of a multiplanar invasion from the Daemonic Abyss. Untold legions descended upon the land, first in secret, then in open slaugther - seeking to claim the souls of all of its inhabitants. According to legend, a coalition of Celestials, Gjinn Elementals, and Heroic Mortals waged war against these daemons across thousands of years.   During that time the Daemons left vast tracts of land across rynn scarred or corrupted, as well as many of the people who resided there. While many of those scars have healed in the millenia since, some still exist. But the legacy and memory of those ancient conflicts still haunt the songs and stories of the current era. Despite the creation of the Shroud, and the unleashing of the Titan Holocaust, pockets of daemon incursions can still be found - requiring the continued vigilance of many socities to this day.

    The Sundering

While many of the details of the Sundering are lost to myth, its occurance is doubted by few, and questioned by even less. According to legend, in the later era of the Daemonic Wars, the Sundering was completed after a combined effort by many disperated heroes and kingdoms, all coordinated to syncronize a complex ritual across the planet. With their part complete, the varios dieties that claim Terra Rynn in their domain were able to channel their divine magic to seperate Rynn from the other planes, as a means of steming the Daemonic invasion.
