Orgolia

Located in the northern steppes and plains of Kreata, the Orgol Nomads are a loose affiliation of over a hundred tribes who roam the vast expanse outside the reach of the southern continent. The Orgol are descended from true orcs who once were in thrall to the daemons during the First Age, and served as their foot soldiers in Rynn. Millenia later, much of their mortality has returned, and they seek to live in some measure of harmony with the other peoples of the continent.   Often due to their perceived savageness as a result of their daemonic ancestry, orgol are mostly mistrusted or otherwise prevented from integration with the broader civilized world. Their combat prowess has prevented their overall subjugation, and so they have remained relatively secluded in the north.

Orgol Tribes

There are over a hundred different tribes within the Orgol territory, each with multiple clans and families that compose them. Not all tribes are equal in size or status, and several hold prominance both within the region, as well as beyond it.

Tsen’khereg (Cerulean Horde)

The Tsen'khereg are one of the oldest and most renown horde in the people's history. Considered to be the pioneers of modern horseback warfare still used today, the legacy of Koth remains a great point of pride among all Orgol. They trace their lineage back thousands of years to the great rebirth, and are considered one of the last direct inheritors of Ut-Koth (Orgol Holy Land). At their height, the Kothian's were the largest united horde in all of Orgol, and for a brief time were able to rival the power of the Turathi Empire and lay conquest on much of their lands.   However, after their founding leaders death, the tribe never regained their prestige, and slowly over the generations, their power became diluted and waned. With the aid of Khjagathall, bastard blood of Kothull himself, the Kothian tribe staved off ruin and managed to establish a new, more diplomatic order, among many tribes of the Horde. Since Khjagathall's Pact - the Kothian Horde has remained a prominent force among the Steppe, even if their supremacy has long since faded.

Süüd’ereg (Shadow Horde)

The Süüd’ereg are lead by the Tahar "Blackwolf" tribe. The Tahar are an Orgol tribe that reside around the southern borders of the steppe, bordering the Turathi nation of Thele. Due to their close proximity, they are both more fierce defenders of Orgol soverignty, and yet paradoxically more cultured and generally sophisticated traders with outsiders (Only Targana holds a higher claim). They are currently lead by a charsimatic leader named Var'Gosh who has been thought to be a powerful united of clans and tribes in defense of Orgol sovereignty.

Tak'tcho (Boar Blood)

Thrall of the Kothian Horde   The Tak'tcho tribe was a lesser tribe that roamed the southwestern hills of the Pentasis Mountains. Once a major bulwark of Turathi incursion, the Tak'tcho recently have suffered a crushing defeat by several rival tribes orchestrated by the Stygian Horde.

Khyar’shoreg (Stygian Horde)

Leader of the Stygian Horde
  • Atsa’atan (Frost Drift)
  • Urchger (Marrowmilk)
  • Mös'Shüd (Ice Tooth)
  • Tsa’Khanda (Snow Elk)
  • Dariganga (Blood Stride)
Mös'Shüd are an occult tribe that holds dominance in the far northern tundra of the Orgol Steppe. Once known for their reclusive and superstitious nature, they have recently risen to prominance under the rule of the Hordemaster, X'xharathul. Some tribes, such as the Golden Mane, have decried the Stygian's as a cult, while others believe that they have uncovered ancient knowledge that will liberate their people from the threat of southern aggression.

Tsa'Khanda (Snow Elk Tribe)

Thralls of the Stygian Horde   The Tsa'Khanda are a venerated and well established tribe based in the eastern reaches of the steppe. Traditionally they have avoided direct confrontation with the Southern Turathi, often having clans migrate to more western tribes for a chance of glory. Recently, however, they seem to have joined in alliance with the Stygian Horde and have taken aggressive actions against the territory of Selene.
