Kajat

Despite being once the saviors of the mortal world, and then nearly hunted to extinction, the giants and their descendants have manage to salvage a life in the northern hinterlands of Kreata. With many of the more power mad giants targeted first, the remaining leaders put aside their distances to band together in their mutual defense. In doing so, they carved out a territory for themselves in the north. In addition, with perhaps the greatest reluctance, they recruited several of their would be hunters to their cause, with great magi imbuing these mortals with elemental power, creating the Genasi. In exchange for their power, the Genasi pledged to serve their Kajat overlords, and serve they did. With the genasi’s help, the Kajat were able to secure a peace. Kept at bay for over a thousand years, the Kajat have only just began to reemerge in the world in earnest; as the shadow of the Turathi empire fades, the genasi and giants.
