House Palbuc

The Szlachta Palbuc or House Palbuc is the noble house of Fumaya ruling the Duchy of Palbuc, aka Fumaya's Toe.

Structure

Like the rest of land of Fumaya, the Duchy of Palbuc is a feudal realm. Palbuc is split into three counties of roughly equal size spinning out from
House Palbuc has members and politics ties outside of the Duchy of Palbuc but their power is very geographically concentrated in Fumaya's Toe.

Culture

The House's founding father Dyzek Palbuc the Vindicator was a favored soul of Hallisan and his wife Luceria was a staunch Korus worshiper. They tried to impart their peity on their children and grand children.
There are exceptions, but the house is generally for valuing general Nonagon piety.
Much like the commoners of their realm, Szlachta Palbuc has assimilated a little bit of wood elf cultural values. General respect for nature and a fondness for long bows. Most House members learn Elven from a young age.

A disproportionately high number of the sons and daughters of the House of Palbuc die young from a wide variety of causes. A disproportionately high number of these premature deaths are on children born under Greymoria's Zodiac sign.
This has lead to superstitious speculation that Greymoria has it out for the famiy somehow.
