Immortal All-Knowing Sage 神风哇 (a.k.a. Taiyi Zhenren ["Primordial unity of Yin and Yang; perfected person"])
In the land of the Ancient Jiao empire, a child was born who would one day become a savior to many. It was an Age of Wonder, filled with incredible magic and advanced technology, and though the child's family was poor, he lacked for nothing. By the young age of 13, he had already gained an impressive education, able to read, write, and calculate with ease.
It was then that fate intervened, and the child was discovered by a trio of wu jen, who saw great potential in him. They began to train him in the ways of Yin and Yang, starting with only three hours a day. But with time, his training intensified, and he spent less and less time at home with his family. By the age of 17, he had left everything behind to pursue his destiny.
As he journeyed, he became known by many names: a mischievous trickster, a traveler among the stars, the Great Friend of Heaven, and the teacher of Zhe Na. It was said that he had even created the 10,000 Mile Dragon Barrier, and he was revered as a minor deity of salvation and life for all sentient beings in the 10 directions.
He was called upon for many purposes, from facilitating communication between different planes of existence to helping souls move on to the afterlife. His unquestionable loyalty and trustworthiness did not go unnoticed. Even the Jade God sought his aid on occasion, tasking him with important missions throughout the Multiverse.
It was during one such mission when he had partnered with a fellow spiritual master named Lu Dingshe, that they encountered the evil brothers Gold Horn Demon and Silver Horn Demon. These enchanted beings wreaked havoc wherever they went, and Shen Feng Wa knew that they had to be stopped.
In a fierce battle, the two wizards faced off against the brothers, with Shen Feng Wa ultimately being captured and imprisoned in the Purple-Gold Red Gourd. Lu Dingshe knew that he had to defeat the brothers to save his friend, and with the full force of his magic, he succeeded. The brothers were destroyed forever, and the two friends went their separate ways.
This was only one of the many adventures that Shen Feng Wa would go on throughout his long and storied life, but it would always be remembered as one of his greatest triumphs.

He was a minor deity of salvation and life for all sentient beings in the 10 directions with a different incarnation for each direction and can transform into other incarnations for any purpose. He was invoked during funerals and rituals for the dead to send them to the Eastern Heavenly Pureland Chang Le where he resided and he was also invoked to save suffering souls from hell during the Ghost Festival.
Extremely trustworthy and loyal, the Jade God tasked him with important details from time to time, all over the Multiverse. Frequently, Shen Feng Wa facilitated communications between the Planes of Existence for greater and lesser powers alike.

He gave his student Zhe Na the Wheels of Fire and Wind, a Fire Tipped Spear, as well as helped him obtain the Red Armillary Sash, and the Universal Ring.

Shen Feng Wa has authored many tomes and scrolls filled with lore and magical secrets. The Classic of the Crystal Spheres is a wood-slat scroll wherein he describes his fantastic voyage beyond the stars in heaven in a strange land called Felthir.

Shen Feng Wa was known as a cat loving trickster, and his shrines are often homes for stray cats. One sect of followers wear a dead mouse tied by their tails to their belts.

A master of disguise, he can avoid detection in any form. However, in some tales he ensures his various forms share his trademark mustache (Post-Extinguishment) or hair bun (Age of Wonder).

After returning to Rolara, he crafted Taiyi Zhenren's Incredible Pipe. After Zhizhi Laoshu completed his training with Zhenwu in the Heavenly realm, Shen Feng Wa gifted his pipe to the mouse.
He also famously used the Nine Dragon Fire Net to defeat Lady Rocky when his pupil Zhe Na failed to do so on his own. The power of the artifact was such that Shen Feng Wa was victorious over the demoness, despite her superior power.

The 10,000 Mile Dragon Barrier allowed him time to hide artifacts of Ancient Jiao technology, as well as keep it out of the hands of those who would lack the knowledge or wisdom to do so, or would otherwise endanger the world. The great wall slowed the incursions from the Hordelands for nearly a thousand years.

His favorite hobby was collecting souvenirs from the places he visits and giving them to people as gifts. He has collected a Changeling that is also a construct from Felthir, has borrowed Somersault Cloud from the Jade God, and once gave an enchanted elixir to King Yan.

The Master of Transmutation preferred to let others talk and communicate telepathically, and to pretend he knew the common tongue little whenever he left the Mythic Land of Jiao. Nonetheless, he remained vigilant and shrewd in conversation.
Relationships
History
Initially off to a rocky start, Lu Dingshe and Shen Feng Wa became a strong pair of spiritual masters. Together, they cultivated their spirit in the methods of their respective masters and reach fantastic heights of power.
Shen discovered a method for forming what he called the golden pill (philosophers stone) and could create an elixir that further refined their spiritual energies. However, this powerful elixir had adverse and violently reactive effects with many mundane materials, and storing it was problematic. Dingshe learned of the evil brothers, Gold Horn Demon and Silver Horn Demon and of their enchanted bottles.
Off the two wizards flew to find the evil brothers, tracking every rumor and lead they could uncover. It wasn't long until they came across the trail of mayhem the brothers would leave behind, and both Shen and Lu challenged them to combat. At first, the brothers refused, believing the humans to be beneath them.
During the battle, the Silver Horn Demon used his Purple-Gold Red Gourd to capture and imprison Shen Feng Wa. Lu Dingshe knew he had to defeat both of the brothers, lest Shen be reduced to goo by the artifact. Summoning the full force of his magic, Lu Dingshe utterly and irrevocably destroyed the evil brothers forever.
With Shen restored, the two wizards parted ways.
