Swamp Thing, travelling back through time, meets the original "trinity" of the Parliament of Trees: Yggdrasil, Tuuru (a tree), and Eyam (a trilobite). They send him further back in time to 425 million BCE.

The villain Chronos is stranded in the Age of the Dinosaurs after battling the Atom, he then places himself in suspended animation to wait for the return of his home era.

On ancient Krypton, the being later known as Doomsday is created by an unfortunate band of scientists. He escapes, in short order confronting several New Gods, and devastating Khundia and much of the Green Lantern Corps, before being incapacitated by the natives of Calaton.

A powerful meteor fragment confers immortality on two proto-Cro-Magnons, who will become Vandal Savage and the Immortal Man.

The earliest known battle between Vandal Savage and his recurring nemesis Resurrection Man occurs. Also, Aurakles, Earth's “original super-hero,” fights Neh-Buh-Loh, servant of the Sheeda Queen Gloriana Tenebrae.

The time-traveler Chronos II (Walker Gabriel) steals an artifact from Knossos, on Crete, at the behest of Vandal Savage.

Dawnguard was involved in the Granada Massacre which was when a Muslim mob stormed the royal palace in Granada, in the Taifa of Granada, crucified the Jewish vizier Joseph ibn Naghrela and massacred much of the Jewish population of the city.

English Lord Richard Beaumont makes a name for himself and becomes the world's new finest archer; during one of his adventures he encounters his time-traveling future descendant, Fletcher Beaumont III, a.k.a. the Bowman.

Rā’s al Ghūl attempts unsuccessfully to seize the Holy Grail as it’s being smuggled back to Europe from the court of Batu Khan.

The former nymph Nimue has served for twelve years as Oracle of Xanadu, Kublai Khan’s summer capital. When the Polo expedition arrives, however, a visit from the Phantom Stranger leads her to expose a conspiracy against the Europeans that forces her into exile. Marco Polo is granted a mysterious emerald lantern as a gift, with which he eventually returns to Europe.

The Templars are persecuted as heretics and officially dissolved; the order survives underground in Scotland and elsewhere. Its influence continues to the present through successor organizations including the Freemasons (prominent from the 17th Century forward) and the Bavarian Illuminati (18th Century).

Leonardo is also an ancestor of Zatara and Zatanna, as are Nicholas Flamel, born 1330, and Nostradamus, born 1503.   After the muse of Mona Lisa died, Dawnguard reincarnated as her for the first time. Dawnguard inhabited Lisa Gherardini whom Leonardo da Vinci would eventually recognize as the woman whom he was commissioned paint. Leonardo had found Dawnguard hiding out as Lisa in Italy and found the idea of reincarnation intriguing at the least, Dawnguard found da Vinci just as interesting. The two would spend a great deal of time together before eventually parting ways.

Retired to Stratford, Shakespeare writes The Tempest, the coda to his career and to his agreement with Dream.

Prince Alexandru Movilâ of Bucharest, having developed a reputation for using his occult powers to keep Eastern Europe under the control of Christianity for a price, betrays Transylvania to Turkish invaders, resulting in the terrible curse that turns Movilâ into the sorcerer known as the Crimson Mask.

D’Artagnan first joins the legendary Three Musketeers serving under France’s Louis XIII, combating the schemes of Cardinal Richelieu.

Buccaneers claim Tortuga, off the northwest coast of Hispaniola, in the Caribbean. The adventures of the Crimson Corsair and the wicked Johnathan "Bloody Jack" Carter become legendary. Tales of the legendary Crimson Corsair spread as far as Freedom.

Heroes clash with villains in Freedom City's Centennial Circle.

The Freedom Ledger reports that a group of masked adventurers has officially formed and they're called the Freedom Society. Arriving only moments after nine poor souls met their end, the Freedom Society was able to win the day by rescuing the remaining three hostages from armor clad bandits. The survivors names are being restricted by local authorities to protect their identities. The paper also shows the obituary of one Arnold Baker, found floating in the South River near the Boardwalk.

A man calling himself Dr. Tomorrow came from an alternate future where Soldier, Vincent, and Oswald failed to stop a terrible monster that later caused World War III after a supposed World War II. He retrieved the two relatively unknown heroes to help him fight what he called Timewraiths that would come to stop him from changing the timeline. Taking them to the future, Dr. Tomorrow would plant a way, in an abandoned church, for Oswald to move the party back in time. In a desperate attempt to save himself, Dr. Tomorrow would leave the other heroes in 1928 as bait for the Timewraiths. Grabbing two heroes from the future, Dawnguard and his partner Grome (on their way to Scarab's lair after the Scarab's death), he pulled them to into 1937.

Caroline Frazier buys a Ford Model A which she would later often be noted for putting on loan to the Freedom Society whenever needed.

Aurora Press produces pulp adventures of Johnny Danger, the Ghost, Bluesman, and others. The Ghost returns to the Freedom City and appears to police and offers them hints on cases as usual.

In the wake of several deaths and some heroic events, the local paper hosts a meet up of heroes in Freedom City and the Freedom Society recruits several new members. The truth of which is the intent of the paper's lead to gather information on the heroes.

An annoyance named Mr. Mxyzptlk plagues the Freedom Society and fools them into a fictional mystery.

Peter Parker, secretly Spider-Man, the newly emerged hero who's only taken down a single crook suddenly vanishes! He is quickly replaced by Copycat.

The Freedom Society fights back against The Answer's Answering Machines and work to stop a riot at the South River State Penitentiary.

Dawnguard traveled to a now defunct future where ultimately he learned that he was a malleable point in time and that everything he and his friends do from his return onward, would be of his own making.

Man-Dragon went to an explosion at Ace Chemical and saved a woman inside and cleaned up a chemical spill with his fire breath. He learned the man who dropped the chemical was killed in the situation.
