Year of the Dark War

Era beginning/end

In observation of tradition, at the beginning of the year, the Oracles of Azgenerath converged to name the year by their vision of what was to come. The year was named on the Dragon Hawk, Year of the Dark War. As history would unfold, the year would see the Knights of Saint George of the Kingdom of Anglia embark on a quest across Noveatus  to defeat the mighty Black Dragon; though they would never be heard from again. Across the realms, tales of the knight's travels would spark anti-magic sentiment and cause a proverbial war on magic that would lead to some dark times across the plane.

In truth, the Knights would encounter a wizard along the way that would send them cascading through time and space all about the many histories. Each of these men would purpose themselves toward hunting down dragons and dragon lore.
