What is the Envis Project?
I'm glad you asked dear reader. Simply put, the Envis Project is a personal intention of mine to construct the ecumenopolis of Envis, the single most powerful planet in the Galaxy of Astraesto. The project currently encompasses 28 articles, all in some way related to Envis, with this page working as a landing page to access all of them, and to see my current progress. You can find a link to each article, as well as a brief synopsis below.

Envis
Easily the single most important planet in the Galaxy, Envis is the core of the aptly named Envis Project. It is the de-facto capital of the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets, the current Galactic Hegemon, as the seat of the Federation Federal Government.
Envis is an ecumenopolis, and the might of the city of Envien is incomprehensible, even among the many mighty worlds that encompass Astraesto. Simultaneously the commerce, scientific, cultural, and political capital of the Galaxy, the history of Envis is synonymous with abundant success.
The System of Jelran
Envis is one of the seven planets that make up the Jelran Star System, itself a core system within the Sector of Iomhare. Star Systems within the Federation are simple categorical divisions, and do not have governments, causing the majority of the system's residents to consider themselves Iomharian, rather than Jelranish.
The City of Envien
The Planetary City of Envis, also known as Envien, is the massive supercity that spans the entire length of the planet. Seperated into five Planetary Districts, the original five megacities that formed it, Envien has been able to specialise and excel in innumerable fields. There are no cities in the entire Galaxy comparable.
Tradara-Read is the center of political activity across the Federation. It houses the Envien Congressional Assembly, home to the Federation Federal Government, and the Astral Spire, headquarters of the Federation Armed Forces.
Glaskar serves as an industrial hub for Envien, with most of its surface dedicated to ground based shipbuilding facilities, many owned by Envis Galactic Shipyards. The remaining space is left to worker accommodation, and robotic assembly plants.
Meakar has long served as the market district of Envis, with vast swaths of Galactic wealth passing through the district's many banks and exchanges.
Postela enables the survival of Envis, with grand hydroponics facilities dedicated to food and water production feeding nearly a trillion souls.
Alenris is most well known for its many large scale universities, colleges, and academies, fueling technological innovation for the planet and Galaxy.
Major Structures - Land
One of the largest buildings on the planetary surface of Envis, the Congressional Assembly has served as the primary meeting point of the Federation Federal Government since the 1st Federation Civil War.
Within the Assembly, every Planetary Representative and Senator is allocated their own office space, with the most senior and influential MCPs residing within close proximity to the central Meeting Chambers.
Given its importance, the Congressional Assembly is one of the most well-defended areas in the entire Galaxy, with entire police forces and military divisions dedicated to its protection.
Envien Command Base Aurora , colloquially known as the Astral Spire, serves as the administrative headquarters of the Federation Armed Forces. It is located on the edges of Tradara-Read and Meakar, and is made up of a collection of large buildings, as well as an Air Force landing runway.
Its most prominent feature are large towering skyscrapers, where the most senior military and civilian officials are stationed, including the Minister of the Armed Forces, and the three Vice-Ministers. From the Spires, communications can be sent across all of Federation Space.
Fort Tylessia is a known enigma within the Envien Underground. Hidden somewhere in the deep levels of Meakar, it is the believed headquarters of the Void Stalkers, an infamous criminal conglomerate, and core party to the Grand Collective.
Despite the persistent efforts of Meakar Security, Federal Police, and even FIS agents, the location of Fort Tylessia remains hidden. To the anger of Envien authorities, it has become an important symbol for pirates across the Galaxy.
The Randford Institute of Technology is a private research university in Alenris, often considered among the most prestigious universities across Envis, and the whole Galaxy. Technically the Institute is a recently established university, the product of a substantial though controversial three-way merger, nevertheless, it has already succeeded in attracting top researchers from dozens of specialisations.
The Institute is most well known for its work with Faster Than Light Travel, improving warships for the Federation Interstellar Navy. Over 200,000 students are enrolled in presented classes at the Institute.

Major Structures - Space
Sitting in geosynchronous orbit above Envis, Erin Station serves as the central Space Control Station for the Jelran system. As expected from such a wealthy planet, the Station is massive compared to other Space Control Stations. It is even supported by over a dozen supplementary stations to deal with the pure volume of traffic Envis expects.
The Station also serves as the final orbital defence for the planet, as a core defence of the Envien Planetary Shield. It is guarded by the Federal Security Division and the Navy Security Corp.

Moons of Envis
Adaren is the smaller of the twin Envisien moons, and has long served as a target for colonial efforts. It has been helped significantly by the presence of the Federation Armed Forces constantly stationed on the moon. Though rumours have long swirled the moon houses a significant weapons testing facility, hidden from the public eye.
While Vortania is the largest moon of Envis and more populated than Adaren, it acts more like a company possession of Envis Galactic Shipyards, a unique situation within Federation Space.
Jumpstation Marellon
Marellon is a collection of deep space stations represented politically by Envis. It is a city that has developed around the Marellon Jump Station and Solar Array, but has developed into an important trading post on the route to Envis.
Marellon Central Control is a Federal Jump Control Station, with the goal of screening and directing traffic towards Envis and the Sector of Iomhare as a whole. It is owned and operated by the Federal Security Division.
The Marellon Solar Array is a dedicated energy farm, constantly siphoning power from Star A2XJ. It powers Envis, Marellon, and Sector 1 of the Federal Transgalactic Highway.
Envien Planetary Shield
The Envien Planetary Shield refers to the multi-layered and incredibly substantial defensive network surrounding Envis. Led by outlying defence platforms, multiple Federation Navy System Fleets, and an absurd number of orbital weapons, not to mention ground defences, the shield is well positioned to defend Envis against any conventional attack.

Major Corporations
Holding a monopolistic hold over Envien shipbuilding, Envis Galactic Shipyards is an incredibly notable, and rich interplanetary company focused on the design and creation of space-faring vessels, including many used by the Federation Interstellar Navy. It has been argued that much of Envis' success can be traced to the company, such is its influence.
