Jelran
The centre of Federal control, of the Federation
Jelran will rise from this great sacrifice, it will be celebrated eternally through all Federation history. Never again will those of Aladran look down upon their neighbour.
Jelran, sometimes referred to as Kyra, is an unary star system within the Sector of Iomhare. It's most prominent feature is the planet Envis, an ecumenopolis world that serves as the de-facto capital of the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets. The deep space city of Marellon, and the accompanying Federal Jump Station are also found within the system. Adaren, an Envien moon, is the only other incorporated world in the star system.
The system contains 7 planets, orbiting around the sun Jelran Prime. From closest to furthest from Jelran Prime the planets are Mavik, Dunlar, Usenia, Envis, Andixes, Eron, and Sarua. Envis is the only planet in the system with a naturally breathable atmosphere, alongside its moon Adaren, and a moon of Eron, Czes. Two planets and fourteen moons have undergone major or minor Terraforming efforts, supporting major colonial efforts across the system. These planets and moons hold only small populations however, and are thus not Federally Incorporated.
Jelran is considered a fully extracted system, and each planet has been extensively mapped and mined. Its most valuable mineral exports are Ancrysl and Ovaltal, which are used in the construction of orbital space stations and small civilian craft. The majority of resources used by the mammoth shipbuilding industry of Envis are imported from designated mining systems, with the planet exhausting its own supplies centuries ago.
Jelran Prime
At the core of Jelran is the aptly named Jelran Prime, a K-type main-sequence star. It shines a golden orange that has become a major symbol for the entire system. Jelran Prime is among the 9 Iomharian Stars, and is unique as the only untouched star within this group.
The star is protected under both Sector and Federal law, and is often referred to by activists as the standard by which all stars should follow.
