Karnag
Geography
Karnag is a region to the West of the Mor Bihan, between Gwened and the Kiberen Peninsula. The landmass divides the Mor Bihan and Kiberen Bay, both of which open to the Pleg-mor Gwaskogn, and is divided into two distinct biomes: The inland fields and the seaside beaches.
Localized Phenomena
Karnag is reknowned for its megalithic complexes, including around 10,000 Standing Stones laid in 12 perfectly straight rows. A cromlec'h (stone circle) is located at each end of the complex, and a large tumulus is located nearby. The tallest stones, standing 4 meters in height, are located in the West, becoming consistently shorter as one travels Eastwards.
Natural Resources
The Boléguéans have made use of the protected bays around Karnag to establish a number of small industries, harvesting cultivated oysters as well as establishing salt pans to produce salt.
History
The area was settled prior to the reign of Gradlon Mwar, King of Great Kernev by the Boléguéans, and it has remained as the largest settlement of the Korrigan of the Mounds since that time.
