Demographics

While Lamballe has a history of cohabitation between Bediz and Fae, a recent decree of Charlez Blaez has resulted in the expulsion of all Fomorians, Korrigan, Milliget, and Sidhe from the urban core of the city on pain of death by Irondrink. While most have fled to the surrounding countryside or the slums outside of the town, others choose to remain behind in secret, unwilling or unable to flee.

Government

The city serves as the capital of Biskonti Pentevr, the seat of the Biskonetz and Ducal claimant Janed "Ar Gammez" Pentevr, and her husband "Sant" Charlez Blaez, who exert direct control, either personally or through an appointed seneschal, over the city and the surrounding region.

Industry & Trade

Lambal's primary industries are the breeding of horses, the creation of earthenware and the agricultural development of a variety of multicoloured beans, as well as the production of grain and leather goods, with numerous tanneries established on the outskirts of the town. Lambal hosts a weekly agricultural market, one of the largest in the region.

Infrastructure

Lambal sits on an important crossroads, controlling the crossing Sant-Brioc to Dinan, Roazhon and Sant-Maloù, allowing it to control East-West traffic along the Northern Coast of the Armorican Peninsula.

Architecture

The city is made up of half-timbered houses befitting a merchant town. The house of the lord-Executioner is the largest outside of the Biskonts themselves, a reward for loyal service.

Geography

Lamballe is located about 20 km Southeast of Sant-Brioc, on the banks of the Gouessant River. It shares a border with the Barony of Ar Mor Emrodez to the North.
