Blavezh River
Geography
Path of the River
The Blavet river has its source in the Meneziou Are, within the Lordship of Fanch. Heathers cover its banks on much of the upper course, entering the geological chaos of the Toul-Goulic gorge. Here, the waters swirl around the granite boulders, giving the river its nickname of Spinwater. It flows Southwards, where it enters Lenn Gwerledan, a large lake on the borders of the Goat Quénécan, just north of the Lordship of Kost-ar-C'hoad. From here, it flows East into the Barony of Pondi, passing through Pont-Ivi), where is banks Southwest, making a particularly tight turn around the mound of Castennec, where Kastell-Finans, the fortress of Conomor the Cursed sits. After this, the river continues the Barony of Baod and the Lordship of Pourlet, serving as the border between the two states. Finally, it enters the Low-Gwened. flowing into the Pleg-mor Gwaskogn, greatly widening as it passes the great forgers of Henbont for its final stages, ending just north of Enez-Groix.Terrain
The Blavet marks the transition between the Landes be Lanvaux and the Kernev Plateau. The asymmetry of soils leads to pronounced granite escarpments on the right bank, with soft rolling hills on the left.Major Settlements
