Menez Hom

Geography

Location

Menez Hom is found on the the Armorican Peninsula in Northwestern Kornôgel. The mountain represents one of the most Westerly mountains in the Meneziou Du mountain range, located on the Southern bank of the Aon River. Continuing West from its slopes, one finds the Crozon Peninsula, between the Rade de Brest and Douarnenez Bay.
Menez Hom falls within the borders of the Barony of Rouzig, although it lies close enough to the border of Viscounty of Glazig that an ascent can begin in that sovereignty.

Terrain

Menez Hom is a rounded, dome-like mountain.

Tourism

Menez Hom has long been associated with Brigantia, the Goddess of the Summer Sun, and a Nemeton honoring her is built on the side of the mountain, around a sacred spring.
