Natumbria
The residents of Natumbria are famous for training sea animals as skillfully as Setessans train land and air animals. They train sea snakes, dolphins, and even sharks on a few occasions to be combatants, working animals, aquatic mounts, and companions.
To the south of Meletis right on the coast, this town experiences incredible lush greenery and coastal weather, and many of the people there work on the docks with animals, in fishing, and farming the plentiful land. It is still a smaller village, but the community is rich and the sense of togetherness runs strongly through its people.
Demographics
This is one of the most diverse areas outside the polis proper- humans, centaurs, leonins, tritons in the waters, satyrs, and even minotaurs. They are all there.
Government
There is a mayor/civil representative who works with the people to let Meletis know what they need and of any issues going on. The mayor is especially open to the wishes of the people here and truly seeks to be an advocate. Effrosyni Sotiralli, the leonin mayor, is much more kind and nurturing of the wildlife in her city than others might expect.
Defences
They are protected by a local guard and Meletis has been known to send troops to defend the area since they are so well known for their training of aquatic animals.
Industry & Trade
Many in the Meletian army and the forces of the other polies pay and trade for their trained mounts.
Infrastructure
The towns are made of the white stone and showcase blue roofs like Meletis. There is a vast boatyard and aquatic training grounds for the animals in their care, they have smaller aqueducts and sewers, and a watermill. There is a main stone-floored market area where stalls have a permanent home and a few permanent buildings for the keeping of animals, food storage, supplies, and a meeting hall.

History
It is said that the people's affinity for aquatic life was passed down to them through training by the tritons who live in the Siren Sea's coastal shore right next to their town.
