Altrisos- Settlement of Meletis
This small walled city is famous for Ephara’s intervention to protect it from a kraken, her face coming to life on the marble wall and making the barrier grow so tall that the kraken couldn’t get through. Altrisos now has Ephara’s face on nearly every building and wall in the entire city in gratitude.
Demographics
Mostly consists of human, though some tritons do make their homes in the shores off the coast.
Government
This city is run by the Twelve of Meletis as a holding of the polis.
Defences
They have little in the way of a large military but there is an outpost of Meletian soldiers that protect the city and a keep watch on the waters for any and all threats.
Industry & Trade
They trade their goods with Meletis who in turn helps to provide the small city-holding with the things they need. They are not by any means a wealthy society, however. Most there are fishers, farmers, and those looking for more tend to leave the village and seek out fame and fortune in Meletis or beyond.
Infrastructure
The city's buildings are made of the same white stone often used throughout the area, but their roofs are a simple thatch. The white stone walls and even the walls of homes are adorned with the face of Ephara.
Assets
Predominately a fishing village, this small city is known for providing the area and Meletis with fish and standing as a first ground of defense from attacks that should come from the sea.
Geography
The coastal city is right on the water and very warm. It has a high water table with verdant greenery growing in and around it.
Natural Resources
Stone from the sea, fish, and materials that can be obtained by venturing out a bit into the water.
