Sidshaw
Sidshaw is a village in the eastern area of the Painted Forest region of Ehvania. It is known for its gambling and its honey. The village is home to a swarm of Giant Honey Bees living in a large hive found in a tree at the heart of the settlement. While it can be intimidating to some newcomers, the people of Sidshaw are very protective of the insect population.
General Atmosphere: Freeing, lively.
Notable Locations
- The Bee's Knees: A local tavern with a pair of rooms that visitors can stay in.
- Bumble Ironworks: A small blacksmith's shop.
- Sweeter Than-: A small alchemy shop that sells locally crafted potions.
Defences
The village is surrounded by simple wood and earth walls. 4 trained warriors serve in the village's defense, and a militia of 59 can be mustered in case of attack.
Industry & Trade
With easy access to massive amounts of locally harvested honey, the "Liquid Gold" is put into wide use within the settlement, and is found in many of the products crafted here, such as honey beer.
Architecture
Built to accommodate and work with the giant bees, most of the buildings in this settlement have large rooms easily accessed from outside by the insects who provide so much for the people of Sidshaw.
Near the center of town is the largest tree in the immediate area, reaching nearly 900 feet at the canopy peak. It is home of the Keeper of the town.
- In the center is a large, open spiral staircase that climbs around 200 feet to the base of the living area grown out of the tree. Along the stairs are various landings and balconies with space enough for a dozen humanoids to sit and relax.
- The area around is open like a massive gazebo with various tables and sitting places. Along the edges of where the trunk would normally grow fully are instead around a dozen massive pillar-like growths of the tree which help support it and keep it alive while remaining open.

Found in the center of town is a massive tree which is home to Keeper Althalos Morningfall
Natural Resources
Giant bee-hives found in the area provide massive amounts of honey for harvest.
