The Eight Hells of Shavirouk
In Shavirouk, there are 8 layers to the plane of hell, each of which are listed below.
- Exposure: Extreme chill burns across this unnatural tundra. Mortals on this layer of hell feel their defenses shatter far more easily than anywhere else.
- Listless: A heavy weight settles onto the souls of people traversing these grasslands. The powers of life and death are inverted, where help becomes harm and brutality becomes gentleness.
- Tenebrosity: The nature of reality becomes distorted in these shadowed swamps. Senses are wrong and distorted, where vision is blinding and shouts are silent. Illusions are the only truth here, while all else is maleable.
- Ignorance: The nature of these strange mountains makes knowing of them all but impossible. Those of high intelligence seem to struggle more here than others.
- Frailty: Strange things happen to people visiting these hills. The stronger one is, the weaker they become.
- Stagnation: This open, flat, unchanging wasteland is eternally returning to a state of neutrality. Wounds sink into the mind, but bodies will never gain so much as a scar.
- Indifference: A deep sense of detachment suffuses all who visit these forests. The will and drive to act requires extreme focus which many cannot overcome, often resulting in the souls of those doomed here to be found standing or lying motionless.
- Restraint: Inhabitants of these restrictive deserts find it difficult to move freely. The ability to move about is greatly reduced, as heavy winds force those in the air to land on sands which cling to the feet and legs of those attempting passage.
