Culture
Due to the natural enchantment abilities of Ehvanians, many outsiders find them a hard people to trust. However, most common people from Ehvania generally prefer to offer minor enchantments that bolster resolve, steady nerves, and improve the mood and outlook of those around them rather than taking total control over another being. Ehvanians tend to put extreme importance on knowing oneself, so as to better protect against falling under the sway and control of others.
Ehvanians who have moved to places beyond their homeland are often seen as incredibly friendly, persuasive, or intimidating individuals (depending on how they use their natural talents) due to their natural ability to influence others towards what they want or need from a situation.
Ehvania has a diverse view on relationships within their own culture. Most high-born aristocratic people tend towards monogamous relationships, ensuring a more "noble bloodline." Conversely, most working and common class people tend towards polyamorous and polygamous relationships.

Music: Their easy access to a wide variety of woods has lead them to enjoying woodwind instruments, the sounds of which can often be heard echoing throughout the forests around cities.

History
After the Era of War (approximately 11,000-3,000 years before the current era), Ehvania was one of the most influental countries to help with negotiations, peace talks, and treaties during the Era of Neutrality (approximately 3,000 years before the current era). During this time, the country was able to gain favor and alliance with many peoples all over the world. This influence, though, came at the cost of distrust.
Ehvania was ruled by a council of elders, known as the Council of Ten, for a long time. Though early in the Present Era it came to be known that the Ten had conspired and used their position and influence to start moving the nation in a direction that many citizens did not agree with, particularly in regard to Ehvania's relationship with other countries and their leaders and how they had "helped" during the Era of Neutrality. This eventually lead to a brief civil war within the country. While not brutal and bloody like a war of succession in Eth Kraci would be in the past, it still lead to turmoil and hardship for many citizens.
In the end, the young Elareneth Dayrise was named Queen in 864 PA, and the whole of the country's government was set to be built anew. With a single woman atop the metaphorical ladder, it would be more difficult for the country to influence so many others without being noticed. Though the Queen has been in power for a few centuries, with strict laws regarding production, investment, income, and prices of goods and services, the country has only just recently reached a point of socioeconomic equilbrium from which to truly begin to develop anew.
