Gribanati represents the idea of divination; of knowledge. They are a being who passes slowly over the mountain ranges of Dirakie and the seas and lands between , circling the planet as they travel. One of the planet's smaller moons, Grib's Eye, follows their eternal path, a lingering reminder of the recent passage of the god.
