Culture
Most people of Icharaye wear fully concealing clothing typically made up of a long cloak with a hood, gloves, a sleeved shirt, and a mask. These are typically made in a simple design, with a dull color such as brown, grey, or black highlighted with a small bit of a brighter color. This clothing helps to hide their true form for only their closest friends or relatives. It is seen as a great honor to show someone one's true form, and even going without a glove on is seen as taboo.
All Icharytes have a natural illusory ability that they believe to be a gift from their closest god, Tishka. As a result of this type of magic being so common, many use this "Mask" to present themselves as they wish to be seen beyond their concealing clothing. Due to the magic of the gift though, this cannot be used as a disguise. Even when changed to present differently, an individual is still able to be recognized by others who had seen them before as the person they were upon first meeting
Clothing: Clothing in Icharaye varies from group to group and culture to culture, but what they all have in common is color and functionality. For some groups, functionality means having pants that stop above the knee and no shoes as they spend much of their time wading through knee-deep water, while for others it might mean nothing more than a light loin-cloth to protect sensitive areas, well made climbing shoes and thick gloves to help while traveling along treetops. The other commanlity among most Icharaye cultures is masks. For some, they are simple and plain round masks to cover the full face, while for others they're intricately carved and crafted to evoke ideas or images. Music: Overall, the Icharaye people are fairly upbeat and energetic, with their music matching this outlook. Due to so many wearing physical masks, not just their illusory ones, they've leaned away from wind instruments and towards those that can be played without requiring air. The fiddle has become one of the favored instruments of the Icharytes.
Example: here Icharian cultures are divided among a number of tribes, clans, and small settled locations which have unique and individual cultures. A common ideal shared by many is the focus on apperances and how one is percieved in a very literal sense.
