Duke of Trysor
The Duke of Trysor is the feudal ruler of Duchy of Trysor, and is a direct vassal of the Queen of Swynfaredia though not always a loyal and obedient vassal.
The title is unisex and passes to the most direct heir with sorcery regardless of whether the heir a sorcerer or sorceress. The current title holder is a sorcerer and therefore a duke, not a duchess.
Responsibilities
Pay ducal duties and obligations. Administer to the basic needs and protections of the denizens of the duchy.
Benefits
On paper the Duke of Dragons' Mooring collects a tithe from his vassals and can call upon their soldiers and banner men in times of need, but in practice the tithes and soldiers are more often than not a day late and a silver short.
