Count of Manasch

The Count of Manasch is the feudal ruler of the County of Manasch and is a direct vassal of the Duke of Andras.
The title is unisex and passes to the eldest direct heir with sorcerery, whether they are a sorcerer or sorcress. It just happens to be the case that the current ruler is a sorcerer and thus is called "Count" rather than "Countess".

Duties

Collect income and taxes from the County of Manasch. Command the loyalty of the local barons of Manasch.

History

For most of Manasch's history, the Count of Manasch has also been house Patriarch, and a very micro-managing Patrirarch, but this has changed fairly recently.
The current Count of Manasch has expressed no interest n acting as Patriarch, and has encouraged Manasch family members as a whole to show more autonomy and personal ambition.
