While there are three distinct climes in the more than four hundred miles of woodlands, and the same number of powerful spirits who call the woods their own, they are referred to collectively as the Westwood, or the Western Forests.
The Wyrmbone, Mei'laria, and the Azure Shroud share one thing in common: they each are awash with natural magic and spiritual beings. The spirits control and comprise the world, and in the woods they manipulate everything from the largest dragons to the smallest flowers. 

The woods know. They whisper. They remember. They have faces and wills. They Know.
