Kalaharii

Shrubbery filled lands, like around the Nile, as well as mountains. Kalaharii is home to a massive mountain range that is used as a point of reference when sailing south along it's sea border.
Rainfall great and plenty in Kalaharii, lessening greatly when it gets 25 miles and more from the Dark Ocean. Kalaharii is temperate, with the rain forming rivers that flow to the ocean, as well as vegetation to support ample life... however most of it towards the center of the land is chaotic, mad, and ferocious, due to the magical effects of the source of the Uliun Spice in the Bronze Sea. This area is easier environmentally, but the magical beasts that have become addicted to the Uliun thrive in this more temperate land, and cannot live as well in the west. These magical beasts contend with weaker Duneswalker tribes, or rather, the tribes avoid them to find easier prey, such as merchant caravans.
