Lake Bolo

Centrally located in the Donneshire Hills, Lake Bolo is a large freshwater lake known for its variety of fey creatures.  As most halflings are afraid of water, visitors to Lake Bolo are rare, especially during the nighttime when it is said that they fey are especially mischievous.  For centuries, Lake Bolo was guarded over by a noble eladrin named the Queen of the Lake by the 'Shire folk, but she has gone missing recently.  Due to this, scholars in the area including (Daisy Burnsom) have noted that an air of perpetual melancholy seems to hang about the lake.

Geography

The lake is naturally built in a bit of a valley in the rolling hills.  There are ridges around its southern and eastern edges and a large number of willow trees on its west bank.

Fauna & Flora

The preponderance of fey creatures has created a great variety of strange and unusual plants and a safe environment for forest and lake animals to thrive in.  The recent disappearance of the Queen of the Lake, however, seems to have a worrisome effect on the plants and animals.

Tourism

Lake Bolo attracted a number of fey scholars over the years.  Its remote location and the reluctance of the Halflings of the Donneshire Hills to approach it made it an ideal place for a wide variety of fey creatures to thrive.
