Farthing Hill
The inside of Mayor Fatty Pudgebuck’s hobbit hole is impressive indeed. The two-tone violet and indigo doors open up to a beautifully appointed foyer, where joyfully colored lantern lights bounce off of polished brass statues and make the plush curtains dance ever so slightly in the flickering radiance. Most impressive though, is that most of the mayor’s hill has been hollowed out, creating a large atrium space with a foyer overlook. A set of wooden steps, curving in the elvish style, lead down to an enormous open chamber, dominated by a set of free standing curving book shelves, and an eclectic mix of expensive looking furniture. A desk and chairs sit on the opposite end of the room from the base of the staircase, a large and welcoming hearth behind them. In various areas around the room you can see a number of other sitting areas, meticulously laid out to entertain guests for second breakfasts, luncheons, or afternoon teas. To your left, another staircase curves to a second floor, near an ornate skylight in the dome of the hill. This second story opens up to an outside balcony overlooking not just the Cobblestone Market below, but also all of the northern quarter of the city.
Architecture
non traditional and classy as hell.
