Adelaide's Bath House
Located just off the main road in the northern part of the old hills of Northfarthing, Adelaide's Bath House specializes in therapeutic baths of all sorts, with soothing oils, and healing balms as well as grooming products for more discerning hobbits. The bathhouse also specializes in halfling foot massages, and it’s not uncommon to see merchants and traders doing business while under the attention of Ms. Adelaide’s expert staff.
Behind the large blue oval shaped door, the interior walls are covered in expertly laid mosaic tiles where vibrant hues of blue and purple create intricate designs around polished whites and grays. The bathhouse extends to a large warren of underground baths. Most of these baths are suitable for halflings only, but Adelaide does have one larger sized pool for medium sized creatures.
The bathhouse extends far out past the road, and numerous exits can be found throughout the field behind, all dotted with (locked) doors painted Adelaide’s particular shade of blue. In addition, there are a few open-air chimneys, skylights, and grates to give some baths a more expansive feel. From one of these chimneys a stream of large bubbles issues, bubbles which float around the entirety of Northfarthing and add to the cities whimsical atmosphere.
Ms. Adelaide is owner proprietor of the bathhouse who greets the PCs upon entrance. She is a dark sinned halfling with short, cropped hair whose personality is a wonderful combination of soothing and sassy
