Original Foamy Flagon
Perhaps the most famous establishment in the Donneshire Hills is The Original Foamy Flagon (named “The Original” because of a similarly named establishment in Standopolis). A combination Inn/Tavern/and Brewery, owner Jobo Ironwolf (or “El Capitan” as he’s known by the locals) has built the Flagon’s good reputation by being arguably the best brew master in the known world. "The Flagon" attracts folks from all walks of life and always has a variety of ales and beers on tap, none of which are more popular than the brand that bears the tavern’s name “Foamy Flagon” (think Old Speckled Hen on tap, but better).
The outside of the Foamy Flagon has a large patio area and the inside is spacious, with ten large tables, a long polished bar, two hearths, and a large stage that is almost always occupied by a bard or musical group of some sort. On the second floor, a number of rooms are available to rent for folk of all sizes, and catwalks provide even more space to take in the entertainment below. The Flagon has live music almost every day and night and is the most popular place in the Hills to meet with friends. At any one time there is also a 50% chance that a group of random adventurers (standard group average lvl 7) can be found enjoying themselves within.
This is just the upper building, however, for The Foamy Flagon also rests on a warren of holes and tunnels, where private parties are held, games of chance are played, and where the brewing operation for the Inn’s namesake ale is secretly kept behind closed doors. The underwarren also holds the private family quarters of the Ironwolf family.
Architecture
A mix of elven and halfling influences, the Foamy Flagon has two parts: an above ground two story building and a warren of tunnels and hobbit holes underneath.
