Standopolis
Standopolis is the capital of Elendar and boasts one of the largest, most racially diverse populations of any city in Malatoria. It is the home of The Arcane Academy of Standopolis as well as the home of King Orlen the Wise; Avercrombie Castle.
Standopolis is split into a number of different wards. Some places of note within Standopolis include:
Mordrem's Bushy Beard - A popular tavern owned and operated by former adventurers.
The Blasted Tree Stump - A natural landmark in the city's Golden Gardens, and the home of the E.I.A.
The Church of Hysterion - A large cathedral solely devoted to the God of Sea, Sky, and Justice.
The Foamy Flagon - A tavern/Inn popular for its specialized ale selection.
The Rock Impervious - A tall prison spire, home to political prisoners and enemies of the state.
Hawk's Feather Forest - A public forest within the city's walls.
Green Troll Point - Colloquially called the "Green Trolls Dick", this emerald colored obelisk and monument is a landmark for travelers and locals alike.
The Sagewater River - A main source of water and for the citizens.

Standopolis is surrounded by fortified walls, 7 stories tall.
Architecture
Within its imposing walls, Standopolis contains a number of hills and high points, atop which striking monuments and gothic buildings have been built to gain vantage over the city. In addition the city has a large standing army, the Standopolis City Watch, the Elendarian Royal Guard, and a ready force of mages on call from The Arcane Academy of Standopolis.

Standopolis contains a number of hills, as well as the Hawk's Feather Forest, the Golden Gardens, and the Sagewater River.
