Whiskeybottom Holler
Located in the Bosky Dells, Whiskeybottom Holler is home to the Whiskeybottom family, one of the largest and oldest families in the Donneshire Hills. The Holler is undercut with a series of interconnected, rustically outfitted hobbit holes. Within this warren, MaMaw Whiskeybottom and her son Pappy Whiskeybottom hold sway over their clan. From the exterior, the entrance to many of the holes has a natural camouflage, but there are always members of the Whiskeybottom Clan out and about at every time of day or night. Many of the Whiskeybottoms play music, and it is not uncommon for visitors to hear their songs floating through the wooded valley as they approach the Holler. Also popular are the howling and baying of mastiffs, as dog sport: hunting, fighting, and riding, is quite popular with the Whiskeybottoms.
Geography
A heavily wooded vale, intercut with streams and the southeastern tributary of Lake Bolo.
History
The Whiskeybottom Family is one of the oldest Halfling families in the Donneshire Hills. Whiskeybottom Holler is one of the oldest extant family homes, and the centuries old architecture and furniture of the underwarren reflects this history.
