Burned Road
This road stretching from the Sa'mee Province north-east to Atzieh Principality. It is kept in very good condition and is the main route for facilitating trade between the south-west part of the Sa'ar Desert and the central area. Those headed further north or west from Rotheai in Atzieh Principality usually take the Ivory Road from there, possibly changing directions again in Jolethai.
Most parts of the road have a solid cover of laid stone, but the original work was done nearly two thousand years ago, and repairs have been sparse. There are still mile-markers along the way, but these aren't very accurate. nor are they guaranteed to all be there. But experienced travellers still use them as a way to keep track of where they are. This is especially useful during the stretches where one might need a night or two between inns.
