These peoples had been the dominant civilisations, above and below the earth, but the upstarts of Hoofalls and their supporters wished to determine their own fates. This was the first of the Civil Wars that would wrack Dorwine over the ages.

The Hoofalls Inquisition
Religious eventThe local clergy of Sale go rogue and, deciding there is corruption in the city, take steps to purge it. Such is the chaos that the Count of Dorwine is forced from the city and the actions of the Inquisition are not stopped until the city is placed under siege. By the time the siege is over and the Inquisition ended thousands of citizens have been tortured or burnt to death.
