Beemor
Beemor was a village languishing in a backwater then the mage Borivik Amblecrown arrived about 50 years ago and shook the place up. The village fortunes changed and soon it began to fill up again, now with all manner of creatures and races attracted by Borivik's benevolent rule.
Demographics
- human (70%)
- other civilized races (30%). These other people of Beemor can be anything from pixies to centaurs, elves to half-orcs
Government
Borivik Amblecrown has essentially become the benevolent dictator over time. No one is exactly sure when this happened, not even Borivik. But now nothing happens in Beemor without it first being run through Borivik.
Count Rewyn Anon doesn't seem to care, as long as the taxes get paid, which they always do.
Defences
There are no formal defences or town guard. Everybody presumes Borivik has this under control (including Borivik).
Industry & Trade
Beemor sits on the edge of Loch South and so many people make a living by fishing from the lake.
Geography
The town sits on the southwestern edge of Loch South with the Rotted Woods and the Fen of Ghouls to the south. So while Beemor is certainly a pleasant location you don’t have to travel too far to find dangerous territory.
