Utford

Four hundred years ago a group of worshippers of Rielel, Goddess of the Forest, left Windmontley Hold to found Utford. When establishing the village they discovered Ut nuts, which are a primary source of income for the village.

Most of the people here worship Rielel, Lady of the Woodlands and are lead in their worship by Zuri Brawnanvil. They are tolerant of other religions

Government

Utford is governed by a council of wealthy landowners, known as The Ministry of Bells. The Ministry is generally attentive to the locals.

Defences

Any problems around the village were handled by Conne, the village Reeve. He is an older male Elven ranger with a black eagle companion named Crixim. Currently Conne is bed-ridden and paralysed, after an encounter with Mateg's Boys.
Otherwise the owls of the Ravenwood Have been relied on to take care of the surrounding area.

Industry & Trade

Several large Ut nut farms bring in the bulk of the town's money. Business is booming

History

23/6/5492 The Battle of Utford - this short skirmish claimed the lives of 3 giant owls as well as the villagers: Finellen Battlehammer, Akira Kurosawa, Zaya Questar, Joprani Hutchrice, Val Zytal, Zaya Poutine, Toiv Aefrim and Cyrille Plackard. during the fight The Half Full Tankard was also badly damaged.
